FULL CAP WIGS

A full cap wig, also known as a full cranial prosthesis, is designed for full coverage of your scalp. A prosthesis contains a combi- nation of fabrics and compounds that are used to re-create natural hair growth patterns and the look of the scalp. They come in a variety of styles, colors and lengths. The fit is adjustable to each person’s head size.

IDEAL FOR: Men, women and children with overall thinning hair or complete hair loss. It can also be used for people with Alopecia Areata, Tricotillamania, or medically related hair loss.

Monofilament Top

A monofilament top prosthesis is a cap constructed of a fully hand tied top (see right) with a machine made back (see left). This prosthesis allows wearers to be comfortable with a natural looking top.

Fully Hand Tied

A hand-tied prosthesis is a durable, comfortable base with hand tied knots covering the system. The knots are extremely close together and there are 3-5 strands of hair per knot. The small knots give the illusion of hair growing right out of the scalp, no matter where you part.

Machine Made

A machine-made prosthesis is a cap constructed of smooth elastic weft- ing or woven material, on which the hair is sewn. This type of prosthesis can accommodate those with existing hair whether fine, thin, or patchy, because of its overall coverage and the ability of the cap to stretch to fit one’s head. With this prosthesis, there are limitations in quality.
